Credible public policy work built on solid information, sound analysis, and articulated in an effective manner can be more powerful than the staunchest political rhetoric. Any organization with an interest in crafting public policy must have a well-researched public policy goals based on comprehensive research. However, especially for small organizations or those with periodic, specialized interests, the internal resources required to develop such research and analysis it is not always possible or desirable.
